Angel Fire Resort launched its pre-season pass sale, which it plans to run until Nov. 7. Season passes, which offer unlimited skiing or riding at Angel Fire, are available in different age categories.
Angel Fire's season passes are unrestricted. Skiers and snowboarders can use them for unlimited days of lift access, and the passes have no blackout dates. Season passes for days can be upgraded to include night skiing or riding at the resort.
Adult season passes, which regularly run $499, are discounted by 20 percent for the duration of the sale. The pre-season adult pass costs $399.
Season passes for juniors, teens, students, and military personnel are regularly $299. The pre-season sale price knocks $50 off the price, making them cost $249.
Skiers and snowboarders who purchase season passes at Angel Fire get additional benefits tacked on. Each passholder can ski or ride three days for free at Monarch Mountain, Sipapu Resort, Pajarito Ski Mountain, Ski Cooper, or Durango Mountain Resort. Blackout dates for the free ski or ride days do apply. Free days are not available Dec. 23-Jan. 2.
Night skiing, which was introduced last winter at Angel Fire, is available on the lower 50 acres of the front side of the mountain after the sun goes down. A season pass for night skiing costs $99. Day season passholders can add on a night pass for an additional $69.
