Snowbasin Resort aims to wrap up its early season pass sale Oct. 3. Passes will still be available, but at higher rates. Those looking to get in on the sale can save $50-125 on a pass if purchased during the sale.
Adults can save the most by purchasing a season pass on sale for $975. The price after the sale increases to $1,100. Sale passes for seniors cost $600, and then go up to $650.
Sale pass rates for youth, teens, and young adults ages 7-26 run $225-600, depending on age. Their passes increase by $50 after the sale.
Families can get discounts on season passes, too. A pass for the first adult in the family costs $975 while a spouse pass costs $625. Passes can be added on for youth and teens for $175-275 each, depending on age.
Midweek passes, which are on sale for $550, are good for those trying to avoid weekend crowds. They are valid Monday through Friday during winter with no blackout dates. The passes increase by $100 after the sale.
Snowbasin offers passes for active duty or retired military personnel, but with no special sale price. Military passes are available before and after the sale for the same rate of $525.
Passholders at Snowbasin also get benefits. The benefits, which vary by pass types, can include six days of free skiing at Sun Valley Resort, a 15 percent discount on winter repairs in the Grizzly Center Repair Shop, a $5 discount off tubing hill tickets, and Summer Gondola Access. Some passes also include two 50 percent off buddy vouchers that can be used any time during the winter season.
