Sugar Bowl season passes are on sale during October. The resort bumped up its benefits to owning a season pass this winter, adding an incentive toward renewing the pass and referring new passholders.

Season passes at Sugar Bowl are available in different types that are valid on certain days during the season. One season pass, an unrestricted pass, can be used everyday of the season, including holidays. It runs $189 for children, $449 for young adults and seniors, and $799 for adults.

The resort's four restricted passes are not valid for use during holiday blackouts, which include Dec. 16 - Jan. 1, Jan. 15-16, and Feb. 19-21. The Midweek Plus pass is valid Mondays through Fridays while the Summit Sunday Plus pass is good for lift access Sundays through Fridays. Both passes add access seven days a week before Christmas and after March 14. The Slightly Restricted and College passes are valid everyday except for the holiday blackouts. Restricted passes for young adults, adults, and seniors cost $299-499. Passes for college students costs $349.

Sugar Bowl adds incentives to its season pass program, such as free overnight gear check and free lessons or rentals on General Admission Days. All season passholders become automatic CORE members, which allows them to earn points with mountain visits and redeem points for tickets, lessons, rentals, lodging, parking, and food. Those who refer a new passholder can earn 10,000 bonus CORE points. Those renewing season passes online can get a $50 CORE voucher applied to the price of the pass.

Season passes are available online, by phone, in person, or by mail. The sale runs through Oct. 31.
