Aspen/Snowmass offers a multitude of season pass options, but you have to get in on them early. The next deadline for a price increase is Nov. 12.
New this year is the Double Flex Pass, which is especially appealing to locals and those who might live in the Roaring Fork Valley. Skiers and riders can enjoy two days per week of skiing or riding with the option to add any extra days for $49 per day. That's good for 22 weeks of the season at Aspen's four area mountains: Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands. The price for the new Double Flex pass is $1,449.
The Flex Pass returns this season as well. The Flex Pass offers one day of skiing or riding each week of the winter season, with the same offer of adding a day for $49. The cost for the Flex Pass, through Nov. 12, is $899. Different prices are available for local Chamber members and for seniors.
Both pass holders receive discounts on summer lift tickets. The weeks begin Monday and end Sunday. Unused days cannot be carried over.
The Escape Pass is $319 up front, if purchased by Dec. 17. The price goes up after that to $359. You pay as you go with the Escape Pass. Use it on all four mountains, and pay $49 per day when you use it. Rates are also available for senior, youth, college kids, and children.
