Galibier-Thabor is offering 60 percent off season passes for skiers who book online before midnight Nov. 15.

This means that it will be possible to ski all season long for €199 instead of €509. That's less expensive than a regular priced seven-day pass for the same area.

The resorts of Valloire and Valmeinier make up the Galibier-Thabor ski area, which counts more than 150 kilometres of pistes.

To take advantage of this offer, clients must book their season pass through either Valloire's or Valmeinier's Web site. They should have a scanned passport-type photo to be able to upload onto the site in order to complete the purchase.

The resort offers clients a rechargeable magnetic pass card for free. It can either be picked up directly at Valloire or Valmeinier or clients can choose to have the pass mailed to their home for a fee.

A 2011 summer bike park option can be added to the season pass for €20.

It is possible to purchase a discounted winter pass from Nov.16 to Dec. 12, for €355. The bike park option is not valid for ski passes purchased after Nov. 15.

The resorts of Galibier-Thabor are easily accessible. They are located one hour away from Chambéry and 12 kilometres off the A43 motorway.
