The Carte Blanche card gets holders discounts off the cost of regular price Adult and Student full day lift tickets at Owl's Head and at Mont Sutton, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.

The first time a card holder buys a ticket, he or she receives a 10 percent discount. The discount gets bigger each time, up to 40 percent off. Every fifth visit, card holders get a free full ticket.

Carte Blanche cards are free, and are available at Owl's Head and Mont Sutton, and other locations in the Eastern Townships, Montreal, Ontario, and the United States.

Mont Sutton is running a season pass incentive contest with a trip for two to Banff as prize. Rules are simple: Buy a 2010-11 season pass by Sept. 30 and have a chance to win the trip, valued at $2,500.

Sutton season passes are $828 for adults before Sept. 30, then $920; $509 for students, then $566; $474 for teens, then $527; and $417 for juniors (6-13), then $464.

Five-day Sutton passes valid Monday through Friday are $584 for adults (18-64) until Sept. 30, then $649; and $355 for seniors, then $395.
