The Association of SnowSports Countries has put together this beginners' ski package to encourage wannabie skiers to give it a try.

First-time skiers can benefit from free tuition, lift passes, and equipment hire for a period of one week, when they book a holiday with one of the six participating tour operators: Crystal Ski, First Choice Snow, Frontier Ski, Ingams, Ski Norway, and Thomson Ski.

Choose from more than 25 resorts across seven countries, including Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig, Soldeu el Tarter, Pal-Arinsal, and Arcalis in Andorra; Cervinia, Courmayeur, La Thuile, Pila, and Monterosa in the Aosta Valley, Italy; Big Whit, Mont St Anne, and Silver Star in Canada; Levi, Ruka, and Salla in Finland; Tignes, Val Thorens, Morzine, Courchevel, Avoriaz, and Les Menuires in France; Geilo, Hafjell, and Hemsedal in Norway; and Zermatt, Saas-Fee, St. Moritz, Davos-Klosters, Grindelwald, Muerren, Wengen, and Verbier in Switzerland.

Book before Jan. 31 for the chance to enter into a prize draw to have the whole cost of your ski holiday paid for, including air travel, transfers, accommodation, lessons, equipment rental, and lift pass. The competition is open to ages 18 and over and the prize must be taken March 19-26.
