Owl's Head Resort in Mansonville, overlooking Lake Memphremagog in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, has held the line on prices for the 2010-11 season.

"One of the best things we did for this season is not increase our pricing," Owl Head's Ken Rourke-Frew told OnTheSnow.com.

"We've reinforced our philosophy that this is a family mountain, and we understand that even though people are on tight budgets, they can still have an affordable vacation," he said.

"Families are still looking to do five-day vacations. A five-day family getaway during the week, for two adults and two juniors, in a slopeside, two-bedroom condo, will cost $1,004 for lodging and skiing," Rourke-Frew said. Taxes are extra, but the price is in Canadian dollars.

Owl's Head also has rolling deals through the winter, based on last-minute lodging availability, he said. These are mostly in the Auberge, and include meals at the resort's high-end restaurant.

Regular lift ticket rates are $42 for an adult all-day ticket, $35 for a student all-day ticket, and $29 for a junior all-day ticket.

Children 5 and under ski or ride free. Senior tickets are $15. Everyone skis or rides for $15, starting Jan. 5, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
