The LG Snowboard FIS World Cup will return to Saas-Fee for the seventh time Nov. 1-5.
Riders from all over the world will show their skills on the halfpipe of the Snowpark Allalin in Saas-Fee. Spectators can watch the stunts and jumps against the backdrop of 4000-metre-peaks, from the bottom of the Allalin.
The week before the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, the FIS Snowboard European Cup is taking place at the Snowpark Allalin; this year it will be held Oct. 25-29.
During the World Cup and European Cup, there is also an evening entertainment programme organised by Roxy/Quiksilver with parties, poker nights, DJs, movie nights, and fashion shows at popular locations like the Popcorn Bar.
The Saas-Fee valley boasts more than 145 kilometres of groomed pistes with something for all levels. Snowboarders and freeskiers flock to the freestyle park at the Mittelallalin for its halfpipe, kickers, rails, and chill zone; cross-country skiers can explore the eight kilometres of trails; and non-skiers can hit the 11-kilometre toboggan run from Kreuzboden to Saas-Grund.
Saas-Fee sits at 1800 metres altitude. Often termed the 'Pearl of the Alps' it has managed to retain much of its traditional charm.
