Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia, largest winter resort in the Mid Atlantic region, is offering a season pass to guests who book a five-night lift and lodging package. Each eligible member of a party, up to a unit's minimum occupancy, gets a pass. The free season pass entitles the bearer to receive special Snowshoe lodging discounts for future stays for the rest of the ski season, and ticket discounts at other Intrawest resorts.
Snowshoe also has an Early Season Savings package, where guests who book a four-night lift and lodging package receive a $200 resort credit. Reservations must be made by Oct. 15.
Caveats: The resort credit may not be used for lodging, and may be used at Snowshoe Resort-owned outlets only. These specials are subject to change, are based on availability, and some restrictions apply. They are not available with group or wholesale rates.
Two distinct mountains are skiable on one lift ticket, and Snowshoe has terrain for every ability, from black trails to green. Two black diamond trails make up an area called The Western Territory, boasting a 1,500 foot vertical drop, 60 percent pitch, and 1.5 miles of length. Yew Pine is a half-mile long novice trail at the Snowshoe portion of the resort.
The Village of Snowshoe features high quality lodging with Rimfire Lodge, Highland House, Allegheny Springs, and the Seneca Lodge.
