The Glacier 3000 ski area above Gstaad is offering 50 percent off lift passes for autumn and winter.
All guests with a half-fare card or GA receive a 50-percent discount on the lift prices for Glacier 3000 mountain cable cars.
The normal price for a one-day lift pass is CHF59 for adults and CHF39 for children, so at half-price it's CHF30 adults and CHF20 children.
Guests with a Swiss Pass or Swiss Card benefit from this reduced rate as well. Children under 9 years are free on all cable cars. The Junior Travelcard and Grandchild Travelcard are also accepted.
Depending the snow conditions and the weather, the three ski lifts on the glacier are already open at the end of October. The seven-kilometre Olden ski run opens soon afterwards. As one of the longest runs in the Gstaad Mountain Rides area, it represents a true challenge for any skier.
The Glacier 3000 ski area includes 30 kilometres of ski runs ranging from 1350 to 3000 metres altitude. It is a part of the ski area shared with Gstaad Mountain Rides (250 kilometres of ski runs) and the Vaudoises Alps (225 kilometres of ski runs) and is particularly attractive for freestylers and freeriders.
The Glacier 3000 winter season runs from Oct. 31 to May 2.
