Alaskan ski resorts set monthly snowfall records earlier this ski season with areas picking up unprecedented amounts of powder. Those early dumps and the current clear, cold weather have the start of the heli-skiing season looking very interesting indeed. "We could use some snow," says weekend snowboard enthusiast Drew Roberts. "But skies are clear and who can really complain? I think it has been the best year I've ever seen here in terms of winter sports."
