What . . . The main slope stretches 170 metres with a 160-metre gradient and is accessed via a button lift. There's also a large beginners' training slope. Skiers can come on as a pay-as-you-go basis or join the club and receive discounted fees.
Pendle Ski Club is suitable for all abilities: Lessons are provided to all levels and instruction and tuition is carried out by qualified Snowsport UK and BASI Instructors. Pendle offers intermediate and advanced lessons as well as individual coaching and children's lessons.
Pendle hosts many national and regional events and is also the venue for the English Schools Races. The clubhouse offers rental equipment, fitting, as well as snacks and confectionary.
The slopes are open from October to Easter with group bookings available for schools and races during the summer. Open practice takes place for skiers only 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesdays, 3-4 p.m. Saturdays, and 1-2 p.m. Sundays; for skiers and snowboarders 7-9 p.m. Thursdays; and for snowboarders only 3-5 p.m. Sundays.
