The section from Weissfluhjoch to the Schifer middle station has been integrated into the resort's snowmaking system and 16 new snow cannons have been bought, following last winter's difficult conditions. Jakobshorn has six new snow cannons this winter, and a new pumping station has been built on Bolgen so that more water can be pumped up to the ski region. The valley run down to Davos Dorf on Parsenn has a new finishing point, so that there is no longer any need to "master" the steep Rösslistutz. Guests reach the road between Sport Frei and the Hotel Real, considerably shortening the distance from the end of the ski piste to the Parsenn bottom station. The new Zügenhüttli double chairlift on Madrisa will go into operation this winter and replaces the skilift. The new chairlift travels a length of 761 metres with an altitude difference of 270 metres. It has a capacity of 900 passengers/hour which can be increased to 1200. Youngsters in Kinderland on Madrisa can let off steam on a new bouncy castle and trampolines. A tubing run guarantees plenty of snow thrills, and guests also can try their airboarding skills. The sledge run has been improved and two new snow cannons on Rinerhorn will help ensure snow.
