Cerro Catedral has introduced new features for this winter, including a new sledge park, an online ski pass, bigger terrain park, and a cross-country run for all levels.
The new sledge park is set between Conexion and Princesa II. Here you'll find toboganning and snow tubing for all ages.
You're now able to purchase ski passes to Cerro Catedral on line. The pass automatically downloads to your KeyCard or Proximity Card which will be activated as soon as you pass through the first turnstile to the lifts.
The new and improved terrain park now has more boxes and rails for all levels: the beginners' zone has a small jump, two rails, and one pvc barrel; the intermediate zone has a medium jump, house rail, and pvc barrel; and the advanced zone is equipped with a four-metre box, an eight-metre s-rail, and a multiple module with rails, boxes, and stairways.
The new cross-country ski run is located at the Upper Station of Amancay Cable Car. It is about four kilometres in length and takes you through a forest of lenga trees. It has good snow cover and is suitable for all levels.
The resort has incorporated six new grooming machines for better technical conditions: four Kassbohrer and two Leitner.
