Biggest jump in Australian snowboard history

Quentin Robbins from New Zealand managed 150 feet or 45 metres with a 360 degree rotation from a purpose built jump in the Falls Creek terrain park. Norway's Torstein Horgmo is 5th in the world rankings and landed a 7 metre nine hundred degree spine jump. He came hot off his second place standing at the Garnier Fructis Australian Open for Burton at Perisher Blue. The Superpipe final at Perisher Blue was won by USA's Kelly Clark in the women's and fellow American, Andy Finch, in the men's. USA's Jamie Anderson won the women's Slopestyle Finals and Chas Guldemond from California took out the men's. Falls Creek 'stylewars' continues for the next week with the world's best mixing it up in the Terrain Park with some spectacular snowboard action.
