Oetztal in the Austrian Alps has launched its new summer adventure pass card.
The Oetztal Card means "one valley, one card" and offers a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
The card is valid for three, seven, or 10 consecutive days and comprises all the highlights in the Oetztal area: the Aqua Dome Spa Center in Langenfeld; admission to Area 47 (swimming lake, water slides, diving platform); access to the Timmelsjoch high alpine road; use of mountain lifts, gondolas, and public bus lines; free full-day mountain bike rental for unlimited tours through the valley; and free entrance to numerous museums in the area.
The Oetztal Card is available from June 19 to Sept. 26. The price starts at €44 for a three-day adult pass and €22 for a three-day child's pass. Children born 2004 or after go free.
With the Oetztal Card you can go through the turnstiles of the mountain lifts without inserting the card, which means no queuing at the ticket offices. Card-holders also enjoy free use of all public bus lines between Hauming and Gurgl. The hiking shuttles of Umhausen-Niederthai and Langenfeld-Gries are also included. Mountain bikes are free to transport on all buses and lifts.
