Park City Mountain Resort has partnered with VacationRoost to outsource its central reservations. "We are excited to leverage the power of VacationRoost's platform to provide real-time booking capabilities and excellent service," said Jenni Smith, vice president of Park City Mountain Resort. "This partnership will be virtually seamless to the guests."
Park City Mountain Resort has operated travel bookings under their Park City Mountain Central Reservations department for more than 25 years. The partnership between Park City Mountain Resort and VacationRoost will provide guests with real-time booking capabilities, which is something that Park City Mountain Central Reservations has not been able to provide in the past.
VacationRoost will manage the lodging, air, and transportation booking services for the resort. Guests will continue to book ski/snowboard school and rental reservations through the resort's online reservation engine and call center.
"This strategic partnership is extremely complementary to both companies, and we're very excited about growing a long-term relationship with a resort that happens to be right here in our backyard," said Julian Castelli, CEO of VacationRoost.
While VacationRoost.com provides online booking for vacation rentals in over 80 popular ski and beach destinations, the company's roots grew from providing guests with lodging reservations in top ski resorts like Park City. VacationRoost will operate the Park City Mountain Central Reservations Program on its Affiliate White Label platform, which allows them to provide a partner with complete Web site merchandising capabilities, online booking, and full call center reservation services under the partner's brand.
Park City Mountain Central Reservations will continue to operate business as usual through the end of this season. The transition to VacationRoost's platform is expected to be complete by May 2010.
