Obergurgl-Hochgurgl has opened a new three-kilometre-long natural toboggan run.

The run begins from the top station down to the base terminal of the mountain gondola and is complete with plenty of exciting turns.

A ride costs €5 per person. Night tobogganing is also available every Monday and Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. which costs €9 for children (8-16 years) and €13 for adults. For lift pass holders and children under 8 years, the ride free of charge.

Night skiing is also available every Tuesday until April 6. The eight-kilometre-long night piste is floodlit and leads from the Festkogl top station down to the village centre of Obergurgl or the Festkogl base terminal.

The total length of the ski area in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl is 110 kilometres, with 35 kilometres of beginners' runs, 55 kilometres of intermediate runs, and 20 kilometres of expert runs. The area is connected by 24 lifts, including gondolas, chairs, and drags.

An eight-person gondola connects Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. This eight-minute ride is known for its panoramic views high above Konigstal and the Verwalltal Valley.

The town is also popular for its historical significance and museums.
