Locals at Nevada ski resorts click into their boards well into April. Some lift ticket deals are even available in spring for those looking to hit the slopes.
Diamond Peak, which operates through April 11, is running a spring pass deal that can benefit skiers and riders this season. Those who purchase season passes for next winter now can use the pass for free lift access for the remainder of this year.
Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard plans to run its lifts through April 18. Sunshine Passes are on sale for $200. The non-transferable passes grant unlimited skiing and riding through the end of the season. Adults break even with four days of skiing, and 50 percent of the pass price can be applied towards the purchase of an adult unlimited season pass for next winter by Nov. 1.
Lifts run at Mt. Rose through April 18, too. The resort celebrates the sunny season with its Spring Carnival and Pond Skimming April 3. Discounted lift tickets are available online, and those purchasing early season passes can ski for free on them for the remainder of this season.
Mt. Rose plans to rent out its new Winters Creek Lodge this summer. The lodge can cater weddings, meetings, and special parties, including outdoor events on the deck.
