The tenth annual Cardboard Box Derby launches the closing weekend festivities April 10 under Dreamcatcher Lift with dragons, cars, and UFOs constructed out of cardboard, paper, glue, tape, and string racing down the slope. "It's a fun, traditional event," spokesperson Shannon Hamby told OnTheSnow.com. Spectators can walk up the slope to watch the event.
The resort wraps up its winter season April 11, but those looking to score a discount on lift tickets can purchase the Daylight Savings Pass valid through the end of the season. The pass costs $199 for adults, $169 for young adults, and $99 for juniors and seniors, and Sunday half-day adult tickets are reduced to $29 through closing day.
