Villars is celebrating the end of the ski season with a discounted "Villars Happy End" week.
Skiers can benefit from discounts both on and off the slopes April 12 to 18: ski passes CHF33 (price per adult/day) instead of CHF50; 40 percent off accommodation prices; 30 percent off group ski and snowboard lessons; 30 percent off ski rental and equipment; and 20 percent off tandem paragliding flights.
Throughout the last week of the season, lively entertainment and après-ski parties take place on the slopes and in the village starting at 3 p.m. Family activities include a kids' DJ, inflatable castles, games, playground, family bar, and concerts.
Villars offers more than 120 kilometres of varied ski trails. Families can benefit from free ski access for children aged 9 or under. The ski schools offer group lessons and private lessons with fully qualified instructors.
Cross-country ski tracks and trails criss-cross the entire Villars-Gryone region. In total about 50 kilometres of tracks and trails allow you to access the most remote corners of the region departing from the Col de la Croix road, des Frasses, des Chaux, de Cergnement or Bretaye.
Other winter activities in Villars include ice skating, paragliding, telemark skiing, and ski touring.
