The Dolomiti Superski region's annual ‘Super Sun' promotion kicks off March 20 and continues through to the end of the season - four to six weeks later depending on which of the region's 50 villages you stay in.

The Dolomiti Superski Super Sun offer adds an extra day to your ski holiday free of charge. For example, visitors embarking on a week's ski holiday will get seven days' accommodation for the price of six and a six-day ski pass for the price of five.

The promotion applies to all participating establishments in the Dolomiti Superski resorts when you book online (the region does not guarantee the lifts will be functioning in all the valleys until the end of the season). The voucher for the free ski day is provided by the hotel on arrival.

The Dolomiti Superski ski pass covers the largest area in the world: 1200 kilometres of trails, some 500 lifts, and more than 50 Italian villages.

The Dolomiti Superski area is one of the world's most beautiful and was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2009.

Some of the most popular resorts in the area include Cortina D'Ampezzo, Alta Badia, Kronplatz, Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi, Val di Fassa/Carezza, Arabba/Marmolada, Alta Pusteria, Valle di Fiemme/Obereggen, S. Martino di Castrozza/Passo Rolle, Valle Isarco, Trevalli-Moena/S. Pellegrino/Falcade, and Civetta.
