Ski Liberty, Ski Roundtop, and Whitetail resorts in Pennsylvania all are offering 2010-11 season passes for $399 if purchased by April 30. The rate goes up May 1. The passes are good for all three resorts, which are all owned by Snowtime, Inc.

First time purchasers can ski or snowboard at any of the resorts through March by paying an additional $30.  The three resorts have received record snowfalls this year. Season pass cost for an additional family member is $299. Seniors age 65 and older pay $199 and the night ski and snowboard pass is $259. There is no charge for children five years old and younger.

Liberty's final Silver Streak clinic of the season for adults age 50 and older is scheduled St. Patrick's Day, March 17. The cost is $45 for a four-hour lift ticket and $49 for an eight-hour ticket. The price includes a two-hour lesson and lunch.  The clinic starts at 10 a.m. and meets at the ski school desk.

Temperatures fluctuate considerably in March, so each area's management reserves the right to close if conditions deteriorate. Keep a close watch on the weather and check OnTheSnow.com for resort updates.
