Ski and ride well into the spring at Durango Mountain Resort. Purgatory is so pleased with plenty of snow this season that the resort will stay open on weekends through the month of April. It  starts Friday, April 2 and continues through April, weather permitting. Purgatory reopens every Friday and stays open through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The one-hour shift in operating hours allows the morning snow to soften.
