Val Thorens hosts the third edition of the Festi'ValTho music festival March 17-19.
Festi'ValTho is a public event built around music and sport. It is billed as a celebration of snow and the onset of spring. Highlights of the event include freestyle competitions with open-air concerts, DJs, and shows.
Live music will be performed on the outdoor stage at 2300 metres. This year features performances by David Vendetta, Antoine Clamaran, Junior Caldera, and many more.
Other events on the Val Thorens spring calendar include the North Face Ski Challenge (March 26-68) and Easter Week (April 3-10).
North Face Ski Challenge is dedicated to helping young freeskiers become pro riders. It is open to all European residents, both boys and girls, born between 1990 and 96.
Families in Val Thorens over Easter Week can enjoy a teddy bear parade, treasure hunt, and numerous chocolate eggs.
This high-altitude resort has direct access to 140 kilometres of local runs. It is also makes up part of the extensive Three Valleys ski area with its 600 kilometres of terrain - the biggest lift-linked ski area in the world. Set above 2300 metres, Val Thorens boasts a long ski season from November to May.
