But now, when the ski area opens on November 23, new dining digs will also open at the old mid-mountain location. With hand-hewn logs and a river-rock fireplace, the restaurant has a new cozy look. The Pinnacle at Big Sky plans to serve lunch daily for skiers and snowcat dinners four nights a week. From its perch at the top of Andesite Mountain, the Pinnacle sprawls outside with a massive deck staring at Lone Peak.
