Late season snow has built up the base at Breckenridge in time for Spring Break. Lodging deals are available, including the Spring Break Family Adventure Package. You'll get five nights of lodging, four days of lift tickets, a dinner sleigh ride, dog sledding, and a half-day snowmobile rental. Prices start at $179 per person, per night during March.

Make sure to grab the Spring Break Bargains Coupon Book, no matter where you stay in Breckenridge. The deals are good March 12 through April 4. More than 30 bars, restaurants, and local businesses around Breck are featured, and it's the number one source for deals. The coupon book is free at all Breck lodging properties when you check in. You also can pick one up at the Breckenridge Welcome Center.

Breckenridge hosts concerts throughout the month, and the annual Best Bar Party competition, March 13-28. Celebrity judges determine the best drink concoction. The Colorado Freeride Downtown Rail Jam is March 13. Retro Ski Movie Nights are March 14 and 21, and they're free. Showtime is 7:30 at the Riverwalk Center. That's also where you'll find the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour March 19. Free Family Movie Night is March 28 at the Speakeasy Movie Theatre. It's a family friendly ski movie.

Breckenridge also has some fun free events and activities, including the Barney Ford House Museum tour, Wine and Cheese Wednesdays, a bus system throughout the town and county, film nights, gallery visits, and sledding at Carter Park.

Activities that have a small fee are art workshops, Backstage Theatre productions ($20 adults; $14 children), carriage rides, Country Boy Mine tour and gold panning ($19 adults; $13 children), guided historic walking tours ($5 adults; $3 children), guided snowshoe hike ($12), ice skating ($10 adults; $8 kids includes skate rentals), Mountain Top Children's Museum ($5 adults; $7 children), Rock Climbing Wall (three climbs for $10), Nordic skiing, Nastar racing, and more.
