Hunter Mountain in the Catskills of New York State has two workshops coming up for women only.

The third annual Burton Women's Learn to Ride Camp is set to run March 12-14 for a weekend that's all about the girls.

The camp is three days of learning how to ride at each participant's own pace, with other ladies. Camp starts each day with continental breakfast so riders can get to know fellow students. Riders head out on snow with their coaches for the weekend.  Each day includes lunch, four hours of training, lift ticket, and rental equipment.

Prices start at $270 per person. Packages including lodging also are available.

Women Only Workshops are set to run March 13 and 14. Women are invited to drop everything, get away from the family, and enjoy a full-day or two-day workshop skiing with other women.

Participants socialize with women, are taught by women, and improve skills with other women. Workshop includes video analysis, top-level instruction, lift ticket, and breakfast and lunch voucher. Workshops are for intermediate to advanced skiers. Groups will be formed based on ability.

Price: $159 for one day, $299 for two days, and 30 percent off for season pass holders.
