You'll still get the sun and warm waves for spring break, along with some skiing. It's called the Can't Go To Cabo vacation package, offered to spring breakers by the Glenwood Hot Springs. It includes two nights in a standard room at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge, unlimited visits to the world's largest hot springs pool, continental breakfast at the poolside restaurant, eight waterslide passes, a beach towel from the Glenwood Hot Springs, and a $25 gift card to be used at any of the hot springs venues, including the Spa of the Rockies.

Skiing and riding aren't included in the deal, but you can sneak in a few runs at Sunlight Mountain Resort, just outside of Glenwood. Aspen and its four resorts of Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands are less than an hour away, up Highway 82. The slopes of Vail and Beaver Creek are a short jaunt down I-70 in the opposite direction.

Packages are good March 18 through April 4, and start at $215 per person. The rate is based on double occupancy with a two-night minimum. You can add up to two additional people for $65 per person.

The Glenwood Hot Springs Pool is the world's largest natural outdoor hot springs pool. The facility has a lodge, athletic club, spa, restaurant, and sport shop with a great selection of swim wear and souvenirs.
