Boreal offers beginners a way to earn a season pass for spring skiing or riding. First time skiers or riders who take lessons can get a free season pass on their fourth day.

The 1-2-3 Ride program is designed for first time skiers or snowboarders ages 8 and older. Participants need to complete three lessons in order to receive the free season pass.

The 1-2-3 Ride program combines lessons, rentals, and lift tickets for the Castle Peak Quad and Nugget to access beginner runs. The first day lessons package costs $65. The second and third lesson packages cost $25 each.

Participants do not need to sign up in advance for the program, but the three lessons need to be taken on three different days. The lessons, which are open to beginner skiers or snowboarders only, are available at 10:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. each day. Those participating in the 1-2-3 Ride program can switch between skiing and snowboarding, if they so choose.

"Boreal's new 1-2-3 Ride Free Beginner program is attracting thousands of skiers and riders this season," said Ski School Manager Nate Ellis. "With a Free Season Pass offered at the end of our three-lesson program, graduates get to enjoy the rest of the season for free."
