The first weekend of November saw a man-made blizzard at Stratton Mountain as snowmakers fired up the guns to blast a big section of the mountain with machine made snow. This work will continue as long as weather permits in preparation for a November 22nd opening at the southern Vermont resort. Natural snow has been falling too, augmenting the work of the guns. Stratton has such confidence in its snow that it guarantees it. You can ski or ride for an hour, any time, any day – and if you're not happy, just return your ticket for another day.
