Sierra Summit offers three ways of getting on the slopes for less money. Skiers and riders can pre-purchase tickets in packages or get discounted lifts with bus transportation. Teens can  ski Sundays for less.

The resort introduced a three-ticket package at the end of January that allows purchasers to save up to $30. The Warm Bam Deal packages up three lift tickets that can be used one per day for the remainder of the 2009-10 season.

A Wam Bam Deal package costs $135 for adults. The packages are available for other age groups, too, at $105 for youth ages 13-17 and $45 for children 6-12 years old. The packages can be purchased at the resort's ticket windows.

Sundays offer a special lift ticket rate for all high school and middle school students. Current school identification is required to purchase the $20 tickets.

Skiers and snowboarders taking the bus from Fresno get to Sierra Summit in green fashion, but with the inclusion of a discounted lift ticket. The charter bus, which runs Saturdays and Sundays, costs $65 for adults and $55 for youth with lift ticket included. Riders receive their lift tickets when they board the bus, precluding the need to stand in ticket window lines.

The bus departs the Fresno Sport Shop at 6:30 a.m. and leaves the mountain at 4:30 p.m. Reservations are required for the charter bus.
