The new resort is less than two years old and is in Avon, near Nottingham Lake, just down from the slopes of Beaver Creek. Guests of the Westin can get to the slopes via the Riverfront Express Gondola.
The Mini Mountaineer Family Package includes a two-bedroom condo, three hours of supervised play time in the Westin Kids Club for two kids, an ice skating outing for a family of four, two-for-one tokens to the indoor water park at the nearby Avon Recreation Center, free breakfast and lunch at Restaurant Avondale for kids under 12 (when parents purchase a meal), a s'mores kit delivered to your room, and complimentary valet parking. The cost starts at $759 per night for a family of four.
The package is available through April 15. A minimum of three nights is required. Tax, gratuity, and resort fees aren't included. The hotel offers on-site ski rentals and a retail shop, as well as a weekly kids movie and craft nights. Another added bonus is that dogs are welcome at the Westin. Spa Anjali is a great place for parents with a complete menu of mountain-inspired treatments and the Riverfront Club Fitness Center. The Avon Recreation Center is just around the corner.
