It's A Snowbound Beach Party At Ski Snowstar Feb. 20-21

Ski Snowstar, located near the Quad Cities in the Coal Creek Valley, is combining the best of two seasons; skiing and riding with a beach party.  The Star is hosting a Snowbound Beach Party the weekend of Feb. 20-21. 

Let the good times roll.  It will be two days of fun, food, music and, of course, some of the best skiing and riding of the season with spring just around the corner.  It's fun for the entire family with activities off and on the slopes.  Enjoy pork chops on the patio by the fire pit and your favorite libation at the Snowbar.  Prizes will be awarded for the best beach attire.  Speedos are optional.

Snowstar offers special deals all season long.  Weekday all day lift tickets are $17 and an all day rental is the same.  Evening lift tickets are $13 and the same for evening rentals.  Evening rates start at 4 p.m. weekdays.

Beginner specials start at 4 p.m.  The special includes a free beginner hill lift ticket, rental equipment and lesson for kids nine  and older.  A ski lesson is $35 on weekends and $27 week days.  Snowboarding is $40 weekends and $32 midweek.

All people under 21 can get a lift ticket for $15 every Sunday when a parent purchases a full priced lift ticket.  The Star offers two quad and two double chairlifts, three surface tows, 15 named runs, terrain parks, and five tubing lanes.
