Valentine's Day in Colorado is a time to spend with your sweetheart on the slopes. Durango Mountain Resort invites you to participate in the Passion Package with a romantic ski vacation. It includes two days of lift tickets and two nights of lodging, starting at $92 per person, per night, double occupancy in a Cascade Village Nugget studio. Throw in a couples massage, an amorous lunch for two at the Backside Bistro, and a sunset horse-drawn sleigh ride followed by chocolate fondue or a candlelight dinner at Purgy's. Lift tickets and lodging are included in the package while other activities must be purchased separately.

The Hotel Colorado is a historic, massive hotel in Glenwood Springs, which is just outside of Sunlight Mountain Resort, and adjacent to the Hot Springs Pool in Glenwood. The hotel has several Valentine's Weekend Events, including a Sweetheart Dinner of five courses with wine pairing, a Valentine's Day Brunch, and a Valentine's Day Weekend Getaway Package, that includes all of the above.

SolVista celebrates Snowfest and Mardi Gras on Saturday, Feb. 13. The fun is for families, with plenty of on-mountain adventures. The Snowball Guest Greeting starts things off in the morning, followed by the Kazoo Band March Procession at 10 a.m. There's the Snow Bowl Adventure Obstacle Course Race for kids, s'mores around the firepit, a BBQ picnic on the patio, glitter cotton candy, rail jam with a DJ, night skiing, and tubing under the Disco strobe lights. Anyone who shows up in costume gets $5 off their lift ticket.
