Every sale of a $2 sticker supports more wind energy entering the power grid through Green Tags from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation in Portland, Ore. And each purchase represents enough wind energy to offset the global warming pollution generated by driving the average car around 150 miles, (in the first week of the program, 170 stickers were sold, offsetting 23,800 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions).
