Grand Targhee Resort is offering on-mountain lodging with added benefits - free deals for kids, that is. Children can stay free, ski free, and eat free at Grand Targhee with any lodging package. Kids must be 12 years old or younger to qualify for the free deals.
Children can stay free in any lodging property provided the number of people staying in a room, suite, or lodge does not exceed the allotted number. Kids must stay with their parents.
Complimentary lift tickets are available for children with lodging packages. One complimentary child lift ticket will be issued per each adult ticket purchased with a maximum of two complimentary child lift tickets per room. The child tickets will be issued for the same number of days as the paid adult tickets.
Kids ordering off the children's menu at the Branding Iron Grill can eat free, too. Kids are served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. daily with an adult purchasing an entrée. Up to two free kids meals will be provided for each adult entrée purchased.
The resort added a new evening activity program for children ages 2 months to 12 years old to give parents a night off. The Winter Explorers evening program includes dinner, eating popcorn, watching movies, tubing, stargazing, playing with glowsticks, or visiting the sleigh ride horses. Rates run $35-45 per child per night. A minimum of three children is required for the program.
