Villars Tourism is launching the Villars Night Show 2010, which is set for every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m, Feb. 3 to March 3.
At an altitude of 1800 metres in Bretaye, the Villars Night Show features performance in which sounds, lights, projections, special effects, pyrotechnics and, this year for the first time, a laser show combined with the sports and performing talents of over 200 participants.
A whole host of winter pros display their talents with freestyle jumps, snowmobiles, paragliders, hang gliders, whoopy jumps, speed riding, motocross, airboard, sled dogs, snow mountain bikes, ratracks, and more.
Tickets cost CHF25 (€17) per adult; CHF20 (€13.50) for young people aged 10-15; CHF5 (€3) for children aged 5-9; and free for those under 5. The price of the ticket includes transportation by train or gondola lift from Villars to Bretaye, the show, and return to Villars by train or torchlight descent on skis.
Tickets can be purchased from the Villars Tourist Office (+41-(0)24-495-32-32) or at 23 Chablais post offices in the cantons of Vaud and Valais.
This will be the second edition of the Villars Night Show and is directed by Emmanuel Getaz. The shows will be postponed to Thursday nights when adverse weather conditions prevail.
