Big Boulder Resort in Pennsylvania is teaming with local specialty snow sports retailer Buckman's to present the 4^th annual Boulder Bash Slopestyle Competition Saturday, Feb. 20. Skiers and snowboarders can choose their own path doing tricks on and through various terrain park features. Judges award points based on degree of difficulty and quality of execution.

The Boulder Bash is offering winners cash and $10,000 in prizes from some big name snow sport companies including Salomon, The North Face, Burton, Roxy, Under Armour, Ride, K2 Snowboards, Giro, Marker and more. Registration is available online. Competitors can check in from 8 - 9:30 a.m. event day. Practice takes place from 9:30 - 11a.m. with the event starting at 11:30 a.m. Helmets are mandatory.

Categories are Open Skier, Open Snowboarder, Grommet Combined ski/snowboard, and Women's combined ski/snowboard. 

Entry fees for those with lift tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. Registration and lift ticket voucher packages are available for $51 for 7- to 18-year-olds and $61 for those over 18.

Participants are allowed two scored runs per competition. The top ten finishers will be based on the two combined runs. Top point gatherers will compete in the finals. Awards will be given immediately following the competition.
