Brule and Wild Mountain are always the first to try and open for the Midwest season. Last year they were within hours of each other in early November. Brule opened in October once before, and they also own the length of season record for a Midwest ski area. They were open for over 180 days one season during the 1990s. They will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Thanksgiving and open daily after that. Hey Heartlanders, it's ski season.
