Obertauern, where scenes from The Beatles' movie Help were shot 45 years ago, is known as 'Austria´s Snowbowl' because the winter season lasts 6 months from November to May. The resort's high altitude and proximity to Innsbruck make it popular for its easy accessibility and snowsure slopes.
