Baqueira Beret has invested in its ski area with the installation of new lifts, an expansion of slopes, and the purchase of more powerful grooming machines.
Horat deth Bò, the oldest chairlift in the resort, has been removed in the first phase towards the installation of the future Luis Arias chairlift that will go from Orri to Cap de Baqueira.
The La Choza chairlift has been remodelled and it now takes less than 10 minutes to get to the top and it arrives at the same place where the Horat deth Bò ended before.
This initiative has allowed for the expansion and improvement of the ski slopes it gives access to and for the recovery of the old Perdiu Blanca ski slope.
There has been heavy investment in ski grooming. Five snow packing machines have been replaced with more powerful ones that improve the packing capacity by 20 percent.
