The European Championship Snowball Fight 2010 is set to take place in Sesto (Sexten), March 15-16.

The best teams will meet and fight against each other in the snow. The aim is to hit an opponent with a snowball to gain a point and the team with the most points wins.

There will be two teams of three fighting for three minutes each way. The teams must stay within the throwing zone otherwise they may lose points, and helmets, glasses, and gloves must be worn at all times during a match.

You can still register to take part in the event on the Hochpustertal Web site. Organisers would like to remind contestants: participation is at your own risk and if you are deemed "too drunk," you will be disqualified. The minimum age for participation in the event is 16.
