The Camden Snow Bowl is offering a season pass to the person who submits the best poster in its open contest. The theme is "Winter Fun at Camden Snow Bowl," and rules are posted on the area's Web site. Artwork should be 9x11 inches, on an 11x17 poster; may be submitted as actual artwork or a digital image, 300 dpi; and entrants agree to give ownership of the artwork to Camden Snow Bowl and the Town of Camden. Deadline is Nov. 16. The area is offereing Early Bird season pass prices until Nov. 18 for those who want a season pass but are neither artists nor lucky. Adults: $391, or $294 for Camden residents; full-time students: $294, or $227 for residents; juniors 6-12: $268, or $206. The max a family has to pay for season passes is $855, or $670 for residents; after that, additional family members ski free. Camden Snow Bowl is a community-owned ski area on 1,300-foot ragged mountain, with a view over Penobscot Bay, 4.5 miles away.
