RETURNS IN 2014
You don’t have to head to Everest to get face time with editors from Outside Magazine.
No need for the international ticket or overpriced supplemental oxygen, instead head to Aspen, Colo. For the third year in a row, Outside Magazine, will be hosting a variety of VIP parties, concerts and outdoor activities led by some of the world’s elite athletes.
This three-day event kicks off Friday, June 8, with a VIP party at the uber-hip Sky Hotel and picks back up on Saturday with an array of adventures for any activity level.
Participants have the choice of summiting a 14er with legendary big mountain skier Chris Davenport, rafting the Roaring Fork River, road biking with Jessica Phillips and mountain biking with adventure racer Sari Anderson.
If those excursions aren’t your cup of tea, there is also kayaking, fly fishing, an adventure dog workshop and an outside photography seminar.

After a long day on the trail or the water, it’s back to the Sky Hotel for an après pool party before taking in a Talking Heads cover band at Belly Up Aspen.
Sunday participants have the choice of picking up where they left off and heading back outdoors or kicking around the town of Aspen before an afternoon athlete symposium exploring the role of explorers and athletes in social activism and philanthropy.
