To celebrate Easter Sunday, Mountain High is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on April 8 with more than $5,000 in prizes including two 2012/2013 seasons passes.

There will be two hunts: one for adults and one for kids. Both hunts will be free and open to anyone with a season pass or lift ticket.

The adult’s hunt will start at 8:30 a.m. and will take place throughout the West Resort. The lucky guest who finds the golden egg will walk away with an Adult Anytime Season Pass worth $699. Eight-Hour lift tickets, night tickets, food and retail discounts as well as tons of Easter eggs will also be hidden for guests to find.

The children’s Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10 a.m. at the Children’s Academy. There will also be a golden egg for a 2012/2013 Children’s Season Pass worth $229.

Late season rates are in affect at Mountain High. Adult tickets are $45 and children’s tickets (between ages 7 and 12) are just $25. Kids six and under ski for free with a paying adult.

Season passes for 2012/2013 are on sale now until April 15. Mountain High welcomes guest to ski and ride for the rest of the season and all of next season for the lowest price possible. New passes start at $349 and existing passholders from Mountain High or any resort in California start at $299. That’s a 50-percent discount off the regular rate. Children’s passes are on sale for $129 with the purchase of an adult pass and $179 without.
