Les Arcs now has four bases at 1600, 1800, 2000 and the Intrawest village at 1950.  Convivial, warm and welcoming, intimate, Arc 1600 always has had a reputation as being the most family friendly choice. The resort is building on that this winter with a special package for family groups.

The Hôtel Cachette special offer includes half board and a ski pass from 930 Euros to 1105 Euros a week for adults.

Children up to age 13 stay free in their parent's room between 13th December and Christmas week and from 3rd January to 6th February.

The hotel even has its own nursery which takes care of children from the age of four months.

An evening in the lively mountain restaurant L'Arpette is staged with a fixed price Savoyard menu offered at 26 Euros every Wednesday.  The meal is followed by a torchlit descent by ski, at night, towards Arc 1600. Lit with torches by the ski patrol, the young and not-so-young will have an unforgettable evening.

The resort has one of the world's largest ski areas, linked to the villages of Villaroger, Vallandry, and Plan Peisey. There is also a funicular railway down to Bourg Saint Maurice from where you can easily reach La Rosière on the other side of the valley with its lift link over to La Thuile in Italy.  The resort was lift-linked by the spectacular Vanoise Express double decker cable car to another neighbour, La Plagne, to create the Paradiski area of 425km of trails in 2003.
