Indianhead Mountain, in Michigan’s UP, is offering OnTheSnow readers a one-day season pass sale Sunday, April 11. New pass holders can save up to $40 on a 2012/2013 season pass.

Those that haven’t had an Indianhead pass in a year or more, can purchase a season pass for $239 by calling 800-346-3426 or by dialing direct 906-229-2205. A junior pass (13-17) is $209 and seniors (65+) and children’s (12 and under) passes are $170 for the single-day sale.

Current pass holders can enjoy the same deal if they bring along a new pass holder, and they must purchase the passes at the same time.

The resort is also offering its new $99 5-Pack Punch Pass for sale the same day. It’s only available to those who didn’t have a season pass for the season that just ended, and can be purchased by calling the same number listed above. The punch card is not transferable and does not have blackout dates. You must show punch card and valid ID to receive a lift ticket. It’s not valid Dec. 26, 2012 through Jan. 1, 2013 and Feb. 15 through Feb. 18, 2013. It’s good for five days of skiing or riding next season. A single day adult lift ticket was $49 this past season.

Indianhead, voted the Favorite Family Friendly Midwest Resort by OnTheSnow readers this past season, was one of the few Heartland ski areas that had adequate snow cover most of this past winter thanks to Lake Superior’s lake effect snow. They are one of the last to close around the Great Lakes offering pass holders normally a four-month season.
