Central Idaho is the place to be this spring. With a good snow season under their belts, Brundage Mountain Resort and Sun Valley Resort are ending the season with free skiing and snowboarding deals.
Brundage Mountain has seen a snowy March with plenty of powder days. Conditions have permitted the ski area to add bonus weekends to spring and to offer free skiing and riding.
Brundage Mountain plans to operate daily through April 8. Skiers and snowboarders can ski free this week at Brundage. All age groups can pick up free lift tickets at the ski area for skiing or riding April 2-6, 2012.
The ski area has also scheduled two bonus weekends. Lifts will operate April 14-15 and April 21-22 with lift tickets discounted by $10. Current season passholders at any other ski area will get an additional $5 off the prices.
Some years, Brundage has continued to offer weekend skiing in May. The resort plans to add more weekends, if now conditions permit.

Sun Valley Resort plans to runs its ski lifts until April 8 on Dollar Mountain and April 15 on Baldy. On April 15, you can get a buy-one-get-one-free lift ticket for skiing or riding Baldy.
The final two weekends at Sun Valley bring Dollar Dayz events April 7-8 to Dollar Mountain. Free events include a family cross race, the Junk Yard Rail Jam, a barbecue, music, and pond skimming.
The final weekend features the Baldy Spring Sun Fest on April 15. Events include fun races, music at River Run and Warm Springs, barbecues, and a costume contest.
